Hanwell is approximately 2.5km West of Ealing Broadway and is a community in its own right. It is fondly known for its local landmark of the Clock Tower which is situated within high street.
Hanwell also has some beautiful green spaces such as Elthorne Park and Brent Park Lodge Animal Centre, which some locals fondly call the Bunny Park. It is also famous for The Hanwell Carnival first established in 1898. It has now become so popular that it is the second largest carnival in London.
